Every match, season and career in Build a Bucket is a deterministic simulation. The same seed and the same decisions always produce the same result. There is no gambling, no wagering and no real-money element of any kind.
SOURCES AND LABELS
Player names, portraits, measurements and imported game ratings come from a public reference archive, listed in the project repository. Ratings are rescaled game values, not real NBA statistics, and are labelled that way wherever they appear.
Team names and logos identify the source of a profile. The game is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA or any team.

Your career lives in this browser using IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and there is no tracking. Settings can export a checksummed backup file, and clearing site data removes the save permanently.
